Baby Bumpdate: Week 35

35 Weeks!
That means only 5 left!!!! Holy cow!!! I think I'm starting to freak out just a little!!!

How far along? 35 Weeks! Yea!

How big is baby? He's about 18 inches and just over 5 pounds.

Weight gain? I gained a pound last week.

Maternity Clothes? Of course. I'm living in tanks right now because of the heat. Just wish I had more shorts to wear.

Stretch Marks? Nothing new. Just the ones from before and Monkey.

Sleep? With this cold I'm not sleeping much. I'm getting a little better and able to sleep about 4 to 6 hours at night and then at nap time I'm able to get 1 or 2 more hours of sleep. However, I'm still exhausted especially because of the heat. It just drains all my energy. Even when I'm sitting in the shade under a fan. Of course it's only June so I'm not sure how this heat thing will effect me in July :/

Best Moment this Week? Monkey kissing my belly before he went down for a nap. It was so cute. He just giggled afterwards thinking it was funny. And getting my mani/pedi that Uncle John and Aunt Cathy treated me to. It was very nice to just take some time to get pampered!

Movement? He is punching me like crazy but then he also pushes up with his feet right onto my rib cage. It causes a lot of discomfort and it doesn't help with my breathing at all. I'm still not ready to give up being pregnant but I do have to say that it is getting more and more uncomfortable.

Food Cravings? BBQ Chicken! Seriously made it for dinner and lunch and can't get enough of it. At least it's a healthy craving. Then there is the shrimp craving as well. Can't get enough of that either.

Labor Signs? Nope! He needs to wait until after July15th.

Belly Button In or Out? In.

What I Miss? Bending over. I can't get my pants on easily and then there is the shaving my legs issues. I really preferred being pregnant in the season where no one but Hubby knew that I wasn't shaving my legs.

Weekly Wisdom? When you are sick and pregnant you just have to realize that your dignity is something that you won't have. Peeing your pants is just something that happens. It's not the fun part of pregnancy that people talk about. Just make sure that you carry extra clothes with you at all times.

Milestones? Kidneys are functioning and the liver can process some waste. He's getting all ready to come out and join us!

Next Appointment? Tuesday July 26th at 8:30am! Ugh! It was the only appointment that they had. After that all my appointments will be at 10:10am so I can miss rush hour traffic on the way there. I'm thinking about calling and seeing if they can change it to another time because it will take about an hour to get there.

Holiday Traditions?

I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Melissa! I have been a long time reader & finally got around to co-hosting! I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. We never really had anything that we did every year growing up either. So I'm not surprised that we haven't thought about setting anything up for our kids either. Last year we tried doing the  Three Wise Men Gifts  but I of course bought more than just 3 gifts. So what is the plan this year for holiday traditions in our house? Bass Pro Shop Winter Wonderland to visit Santa Three wise men gifts  One Santa gift plus the stocking Baking cookies at Granny & Great Popa's house Baking cookies at Grandma & Popa's house with cousins & then heading to the local fire department & police station to share with the men & women that keep us safe throug

My Pregnancy Story with Monkey

So I have one of those crazy "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories. Yes I didn't know I was pregnant until I was pretty far along but I will get to that.  In May 2008 we picked up and moved out of state. At this time we had been completely off birth control for 2 years and nothing. We also found out when we first started trying that I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)  which basically meant "good luck getting pregnant". We decided that we would start the adoption process if we were not pregnant by the time we were 30 so we had a few years (still do actually! Yeah God!) So we were just enjoying life in Oklahoma and enjoying the small town life. Every Sunday morning we would walk down the street and enjoy breakfast at Selena's, we'd sit on our front porch and talk with the neighbors, and visit family in town at least once a week. Starting close to October I started feeling like something was wrong with me so I went to the OU campus in Tu
