Day 6 of 31 Days to Clean

So this one is going to a little difficult just because Sara didn't give me much to go on. It makes sense in the fact that I do have at least 6 things that I have to accomplish tomorrow but I have so many more than that. Then there is also the things that I know I should do but always seem to get pushed off and maybe never done. So how do I choose what 6 things to put on my list? I have no idea and the challenge is to do this for 6 whole days....guess I better figure it out.

Here's what I think I'm going to do for now and we will see if it works. The regular things that I have planned already won't count on my list (like my group I do to on Wednesday nights) but it will include things that I need to get done but tend to have a hard time getting them done right now.

1.) Alone time with God (probably in my Bible study). This has become an issue for me because I normally do this in the morning and now that Miah is no longer traveling and his hours have changed to 11am to 8pm our family time is first thing in the morning. I'm going to make sure that I get this into my day routinely for the next 6 days and hopefully find a time that works best for us.

2.) Clean the kitchen again! Yes this is something I have to do everyday several times a day but most times it just ends up being once right after lunch but after our dinner tonight it will have to be in the morning before breakfast.

I'm already struggling with 6 things for tomorrow. I'm planning to be at my parents all day so Rex can play in his own private play place. Tomorrow will be the first day that we pull out the pool so he will have swimming, sand box, and swing set plus his playroom inside. There isn't much that I'm going to need to do tomorrow because I won't be home to do it.

3.) Pack a lunch and all of our cloth diapers plus some disposable just in case we run out.

4.) Blog. Well maybe it will depend if I get some down time tomorrow.

5.) Wash cloth diapers when I return home.

Ok I can't really think of anything else that I feel fits the list but just so everyone knows that I will do more then just this here is everything I will do tomorrow...

Wake up
Shower
Put Miah's work clothes in the dryer
Clean the kitchen (Miah will get Rex ready around this time)
Cook breakfast
Clean the kitchen again
Go to my parents house and get the pool ready
Come back home
Pack a lunch and everything Rex will need for the rest of the day
Play with Rex until Miah is ready to leave
Go to my parents and play with Rex
Cook lunch
Put Rex down for a nap
Quiet time (quiet time with God, blog, read, talk to mom)
Get Rex up and head outside for more play time
Eat something for dinner
Get picked up for my Wednesday night group
Spend 3 hours with some awesome women who love God
Get dropped off at dad's and pick up the car for Thursday
Go home
Wash cloth diapers
Go to bed!

Yep! I do more than 6 things a day and this doesn't include all the diaper changes, nose wipes, time outs, hair pulling that occurs too. So that's my Wednesday in a nut shell and that is going to be an easy day. Who ever thinks that being a SAHM isn't exhausting and busy they should try it for a week and see if they are more tired being home or being at work.

Good night! I need my sleep so I can get everything done tomorrow.

Happy Father's Day!

Today is father's day and most people are getting together and celebrating with family. Dads, grandpas and uncles all celebrating together the joys of being a father. Maybe getting a chance to relax and enjoy just sitting around watching the kids play and being surrounded with family. That's what father's day has always looked like for us. We would always gather at my parents house. First, with my grandparents when I was growing up for dinner and a day of enjoying being together. Then as I grew older my sister and I would make sure to spend the day with our dad. Then we got married and had kids of our own and the tradition continued. We would bring all the kids and enjoy BBQing at my parents house enjoying time together. This year things are different. We can't just jump in the car and head over for a BBQ. We can't sit around on the couch or on the patio talking and laughing together. This year we are 12 hours away from where I've always been for father...

I'm Thankful For...day 2

Today I'm thankful for the snow outside and the fact that it has kept my hubby home with us today and the fact that just using google and a few other blogs for ideas I was able to find out how to make a link up!  Link ups are fun and I can't wait to read what everyone else is thankful for this month! Grab the button, link up, follow along or just read! Week #2 on THM

Well it's officially the end of week 2 on Trim Healthy Mama! I have tried some more new recipes from the book and from pinterest and I'm having so much fun with it. I also order some xylitol online to save money. I didn't realize how much sweetener I would be using but when you can make sweets for any meal or snack through out the day you can use quite a bit. Favorite Meals this week E pancakes from the book! Yum! I added in frozen berries to them while cooking and they were great and the boys loved them too. They got to have the added whipped cream or syrup on theirs. Fat Stripping Frappa! OMGOSH! This is going to be my go to summer morning drink! I can see myself making one of these up first thing in the morning to get my day going and then enjoying a yummy breakfast 3 hours later. Soon as warm weather hits Hubby's schedule will be packed full daily so my mornings will start early, like 5am early! So having a breakfast at 8:30 will be perfect timing! Cheese ...
