Little Okie Homestead

After some miscommunications and some family trauma stuff I have finally got my maternity pictures. I love the ladies at  Memories Photography !  (warning if you visit there site it's not G rated so please keep that in mind).  I have taken some other photos with them that I will not share on the internet and they turned out awesome!  I have to say I'm lovin' my maternity photos too! Adrienne did a great job! Love her! If you are in the Denver area and need photos done you should really check  them  out! I'm sure you will be really happy with the final product! Also I think every woman should have their boudoir photos taken at least once in their lives and that is what these ladies specialize in! So all you mommies out there you should keep that in mind! It's a great way to pamper yourself and a great gift for your hubby!

I can't believe it! Goose is one whole month old today! It's crazy how fast it goes! Seriously Mom...more pictures? (We spent the day getting pictures done professionally earlier in the day) I just love these stickers! Thank you  Censie  for getting these for me!

Before Goose was born I was very unmotivated to get post written and up. I tried and uploaded the photos that I had but sitting in the chair to write them was just something that wasn't happening. But now I'm ready and I'm going to post some things that should have been up before.  My good friend Censie over at  Building Our Story  threw baby Goose a sprinkle! It was a great time to get friends and family together to celebrate another baby joining the family. I had a lot of fun and really appreciate Censie and all her hard work!                                              New cloth diapers from Grandma and Popa Disposable diapers from Grandma and Popa for the first weeks as we get settled in Lots of cute clothes to dress him in :) Onesie stickers for each month to show how much he's growing! ...

Goose met a lot of people within the first 2 days of life. So many people couldn't wait for him to come out so they could hold and cuddle him. Grandma (my mom) was there through the whole thing. She was the one taking pictures during birth. After things settled down a bit we called my dad and asked him to get Monkey up and bring him down so he could meet his brother. He was so excited to get to the hospital to see him. We were excited to see that he was smiling and wanted to see him and touch him.  Hubby helped Monkey up on the bed and we unwrapped Goose so Monkey could understand that he was a baby and not just a head. He looked him over and then asked about his belly button. We just said that it was just a little blood and it was getting better. Popa (my dad) was very excited to hold him.
