Crazy Night!

Last night was a crazy night. We had a very busy day and Rex did great all day. He played great with all his cousins, he listened, he took a nap, he ate good so whatever happened in the few hours before bed I have no idea. The little turkey wanted to play outside in our backyard...no big deal. I just just finished watering our plants and Rex decided that it would be fun to play in all the water. Of course I told him no because it was after 7pm and I didn't want him wet. Well he didn't listen. Finally I had enough and decided it was time for a bath so we came inside. I got a phone call then and a friend needed me to babysit because of an awful car accident her family was in so I hurried upstairs through Rex in the bath (without letting him sit on the potty first because it normally doesn't matter if I do or don't) and I scrub him down. Miah comes up to the bathroom to watch Rex so I can leave. It ends up that I don't need to babysit so I'm getting ready to head back home and I get a phone call from Miah. This is what I hear when I answer, "YOUR son pooped in the tub, how do I clean it up?" Of course he's mine when this happens. I tell him I will just do it when I get home. I walked in the door and Rex hears me and starts yelling with a sad under tone, "Mommy, Mommy!" so I have to head in and give kisses. After kiss its to the tub to get the poop out and the toys and tub bleached. This is when Rex decides that it will be fun to get out of bed. He comes to the door and peaks out. I tell him to get back in bed and that it's night, night time and he does. A few more kisses and I think we are good. Nope! Seven more times he crawls out of bed. I attempt the Super Nanny method of not talking to him and putting him back in his bed but he just thinks it's funny. So finally I tell him, "You stay in your bed or I'm going to get Sami's bed (a pack n' play). Well time eight happens just shortly after this so I pull out Sami's bed. I tell him "If you can't stay in your big boy bed then you can't sleep in it." He cries just a little bit and then he's passed out. He was so tired but still wanted to play. The positive note to all those trips out of bed was the exercise that I got from climbing the stairs each time he was up.

So after all this Miah and I decide to watch a movie. After it's over I start feeling guilty that Rex is sleeping in the uncomfortable pack n' play so I move him to his bed. I was debating it this would affect tonight's sleeping but I guess I have to wait to find out. Someone has stolen my cute adorable good listener, rule follower child and replaced him with a 2 year old monster!!!!!

I'm taking the challenge!

I'm taking the challenge and I'm going to talk about the subject many people hush about! SEX!  Normally this would be completely outside my comfort zone (truthfully not sure I will post this as I'm typing) but I figure why not?!?  Being married makes it OK to talk about! We get so much from media that maybe it's about time that more people talk about the appropriated subjects of Sex!  First, let me start off by saying I did not wait until I was married. Looking back I wish I did because I have baggage, my hubby has baggage, and truthfully this subject has been the main topic of the majority of our fights for the past 5 years.  Just recently I started caring more about what I was wearing to bed just like  Mrs. T, Naturally  is talking about.  I'm sure must men would love it if their wives went to bed wearing something like this ------------------>  (I know my hubby would) however when you have little ones around (a...
