I'm Thankful for...Prayer!
Day 3
The Heart of a Homemaker
Today I'm thankful for prayer that lead me to be motivated to get up and get started on my workout! 
I really want to lose my baby weight and the weight I have been carrying around for years now!
So the plan?
Well it involves several things that I'm praying God will help me continue.
1. Be in bed by 10pm every night that Goose will allow me to. 
I want to get good sleep so I am ready to workout and get my day going everyday!
2. Spend time in the Word and Praying.
I know that I can not do this alone! I don't have the motivation or the energy to do it without God's help!
3. Get up every morning at 5am.
It sounds really early to me but if I'm up by this time I can get a full workout in, a possible shower (if not it will have to be later), I can then cook Hubby breakfast before he leaves for work and make sure he takes lunch with him. This is part of wanting to be a helpful wife. If I do this Hubby isn't going to spend money on lunch that we shouldn't be spending.
So today I'm thankful that I got up, did my workout, shared with you what I'm doing, and now it's time to head to the kitchen and get breakfast started for the family!

Happy Father's Day!

Today is father's day and most people are getting together and celebrating with family. Dads, grandpas and uncles all celebrating together the joys of being a father. Maybe getting a chance to relax and enjoy just sitting around watching the kids play and being surrounded with family. That's what father's day has always looked like for us. We would always gather at my parents house. First, with my grandparents when I was growing up for dinner and a day of enjoying being together. Then as I grew older my sister and I would make sure to spend the day with our dad. Then we got married and had kids of our own and the tradition continued. We would bring all the kids and enjoy BBQing at my parents house enjoying time together. This year things are different.We can't just jump in the car and head over for a BBQ. We can't sit around on the couch or on the patio talking and laughing together. This year we are 12 hours away from where I've always been for father...

I'm Thankful For...day 2

Today I'm thankful for the snow outside and the fact that it has kept my hubby home with us today and the fact that just using google and a few other blogs for ideas I was able to find out how to make a link up!  Link ups are fun and I can't wait to read what everyone else is thankful for this month! Week #2 on THM

Well it's officially the end of week 2 on Trim Healthy Mama! I have tried some more new recipes from the book and from pinterest and I'm having so much fun with it. I also order some xylitol online to save money. I didn't realize how much sweetener I would be using but when you can make sweets for any meal or snack through out the day you can use quite a bit. Favorite Meals this week E pancakes from the book! Yum! I added in frozen berries to them while cooking and they were great and the boys loved them too. They got to have the added whipped cream or syrup on theirs. Fat Stripping Frappa! OMGOSH! This is going to be my go to summer morning drink! I can see myself making one of these up first thing in the morning to get my day going and then enjoying a yummy breakfast 3 hours later. Soon as warm weather hits Hubby's schedule will be packed full daily so my mornings will start early, like 5am early! So having a breakfast at 8:30 will be perfect timing! Cheese ...
