Baby BumpDate: Week 33

How far Along? 33 weeks, that means only 7 more to go!

How big is baby? About the size of a pineapple

Weight Gain? About 25 pounds I think. I will find out more at my next appointment.

Stretch Marks? Nothing new.

Sleep? Has now become optional apparently. Not by choice of course, but still optional. I really want to sleep but I'm waking but and switching positions every hour or so. I think it's because I'm so hot at night even with a fan blowing directly on me. We might have to invest in something else to cool the room down...any suggestions?

Best Moment this Week? Taking Monkey to the library. He loves going and getting new books but also loves having friends to play with. It's so fun to watch him grow and play with kids of all ages.

Movement? It seems to be slowing down a bit but I think he's just getting to big to move as much as before. It's also getting more and more uncomfortable to have him make big movements. I still love feeling him move though!

Food Cravings? Food, what's that? That smelly stuff that is making my stomach turn? Yep, I'm never hungry. Even when I don't eat for long periods of time because there is just nothing I want I'm still not hungry. That is until after 9pm then I'm straved and everything sounds good. Last night I had chocolate milk and ice cream then potato chips then I wanted a peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich. I decided that would be for breakfast so I didn't cause myself to have a stomach ache on top of not sleeping.

Gender? Hoping he's still a he. If he comes out a she I have no idea what we are going to do. Plus, we have been there, done that before so not really wanting to do that again.

Labor Signs? Nothing yet that I know of. Sometimes I can't tell if I'm contracting or if he is just moving.
Belly Button In or Out? Still in.

What I Miss? Being able to get comfortable. That is something that I really miss.

Weekly Wisdom? Get plenty of rest whenever you can.

Next Appointment? On Tuesday the 12th. Just another routine check up.

(Sorry no picture this week)

The League of Incredible Vegetables: Movie Review

Picture borrowed from  Christian Film Database Another movie review! I was so thrilled when I was walking through Best Buy before Christmas and saw this  DVD sitting on the shelf. If you are a boy mom like myself you know that they love super heroes. I struggle to find age appropriated super hero movies for Monkey to watch. He loves Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, ect. and he has not seen any of the movies/shows that go along with them. Wait...he did watch The Avengers with Daddy one day while I was out. I haven't seen that one so I can't say what I think of it for a 3 year old. Anyway, I love Veggie Tale movies! I think that they do a good job of teaching lessons to kids in a way that they understand and I love the lessons they teach! This one is great because it is about fear and how if you trust God fear can't freeze you. If you have kids, especially boys this movie is great! It helps them get the superheros they want to watch without the bad guys th...

Y3W: I hate drama!

I really consider myself and my life pretty drama free. I try my best to keep people that seek after drama at a distance because I really just don't feel like dealing with it. I have certain family that automatically causes it but you know they are family and there isn't much you can do about it but set up boundaries to not allow it to affect your daily life. Which we do! I love all my extended family but sometimes, seriously, just grow up, stop acting like the world revolves around you and get over it. You children have their own families now! Anyway! After dealing with more family drama (disclaimer: the person I'm talking about would not be reading this so if your family and you are it's not you that I'm complaining about :) then I get a nasty note from a neighbor who is just plain being rude. And I love how they waited until I left before putting the note of the door. I haven't had a car for almost 3 full months and this week my hubby finally got his motorcy...
