Sleep Experiments

Hubby is having trouble sleeping so it's time to do some doTerra Essential Oil experiments on him!

We have tired...

Bergamot in the diffuser

Balance and Cedarwood on the bottom of his feet

Lavender on bottom of his feet

Bergamot and Lavender in the diffuser

Frankincense and Balance on the bottom of his feet

Serenity and Balance in the diffuser

So far nothing has seemed to make a big enough difference that he's staying asleep all night. We thought that maybe being cold had an issue so we bought a new blanket for our bed. I made sure to dust and vacuum everything I could to make sure it isn't allergy related.

So what's next? I've done a little research and I have my next month's order from doTerra ready. So more combinations are on the horizon.

Patchouli

These oils are suppose to be a great sleep aid in the right combination.. I'm really hoping we have it figured out before I put in my next order in a few weeks but in case we haven't we have a plan to continue to try. I know one thing for sure...I'm not giving up! Hubby works a very hard physical demanding job and if he's not getting enough sleep his body is suffering!

Holiday Traditions?

I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Melissa! I have been a long time reader & finally got around to co-hosting! I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. My Pregnancy Story with Monkey

So I have one of those crazy "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories. Yes I didn't know I was pregnant until I was pretty far along but I will get to that. In May 2008 we picked up and moved out of state. At this time we had been completely off birth control for 2 years and nothing. We also found out when we first started trying that I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which basically meant "good luck getting pregnant". We decided that we would start the adoption process if we were not pregnant by the time we were 30 so we had a few years (still do actually! Yeah God!) So we were just enjoying life in Oklahoma and enjoying the small town life. Every Sunday morning we would walk down the street and enjoy breakfast at Selena's, we'd sit on our front porch and talk with the neighbors, and visit family in town at least once a week.
