Week 2 of Bikini Body Mommy Challenge!

So here's to completing week 2 on the BBM challenge! It wasn't a bad week but it wasn't a great week either. I would call it a just OK week.

This week I struggled with some of the same problems as last week. Overeating and cravings. I only struggled on the days that I wasn't using the Slim & Sassy essential oil which proves to me it works!

I struggled with my natural night owl quiet time my body craves which made my morning workouts nearly impossible to accomplish. No early workouts meant less energy to get things accomplished during the day and meant we were always running late. This was bugging me because I was really enjoying getting things done and not being the mom that is always behind.

But enough of why it was a bad week. Let's focus on the good!

I completed 4 out of 6 workouts! I completed some with sick kids. I was able to be there for my boys as they struggled with coming down with a cold. I drank several shakes last week to keep up my fruit and veggie intake. And the best part I've lost .8 pounds since I started this work out 2 weeks ago. And 3.6 pounds from when I found my want to! It might not seem like a big success but when I tell you that my fat flap (we know we have those especially after having kids) is not a flap anymore! I have toned my mid section enough that no it's just fat! Yes I'm excited about that! I'm so close to pulling out some smaller close even though the scale isn't showing it yet and neither are the measurements but the mirror isn't lying! Hopefully I will have awesome before and after pictures to show you by April! This challenge ends 3 days after my 30th birthday and I can't wait to see what the changes will be! It's not to late to join the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge! Just join in where we are or start on day one and just be a little behind the rest of us. If you join be sure to let me know! We can encourage each other!

Happy Father's Day!

Today is father's day and most people are getting together and celebrating with family. Dads, grandpas and uncles all celebrating together the joys of being a father. Maybe getting a chance to relax and enjoy just sitting around watching the kids play and being surrounded with family. That's what father's day has always looked like for us. We would always gather at my parents house. First, with my grandparents when I was growing up for dinner and a day of enjoying being together. Then as I grew older my sister and I would make sure to spend the day with our dad. Then we got married and had kids of our own and the tradition continued. We would bring all the kids and enjoy BBQing at my parents house enjoying time together. This year things are different. We can't just jump in the car and head over for a BBQ. We can't sit around on the couch or on the patio talking and laughing together. This year we are 12 hours away from where I've always been for father...

Week #2 on THM

Well it's officially the end of week 2 on Trim Healthy Mama! I have tried some more new recipes from the book and from pinterest and I'm having so much fun with it. I also order some xylitol online to save money. I didn't realize how much sweetener I would be using but when you can make sweets for any meal or snack through out the day you can use quite a bit. Favorite Meals this week E pancakes from the book! Yum! I added in frozen berries to them while cooking and they were great and the boys loved them too. They got to have the added whipped cream or syrup on theirs. Fat Stripping Frappa! OMGOSH! This is going to be my go to summer morning drink! I can see myself making one of these up first thing in the morning to get my day going and then enjoying a yummy breakfast 3 hours later. Soon as warm weather hits Hubby's schedule will be packed full daily so my mornings will start early, like 5am early! So having a breakfast at 8:30 will be perfect timing! Cheese ...
