It's That Time Again!

It's that time again! For nausea, hiccups and headaches. Well actually this is the first time I have suffered from any of those but everyone will be happy to know that after 2 pregnancies I'm finally starting one with pregnancy symptoms! Did I really think I would be lucky enough to get away with a third one without any morning sickness, heartburn and whatever else most women experience? I was hoping so but I'm happy to have the few pregnancy symptoms to come along with this next little one!
It's still very early. I'm only beginning week 5 but I want to share everything I'm experiencing as life is growing inside me! It's a wonderful time and I can't wait to see who God brings into our lives. Not just the little one but for a support system and other mama friends.

So to start out these last few weeks have been great! I've experienced symptoms very early! I was exhausted for almost 2 weeks and could barely function. Then I got an awful stomach bug that knocked me out for just over a day. But now I'm retaining energy as long as I lay down at least 20 minutes in the afternoon. I'm still schooling the boys in the mornings and making playdates regularly. I get headaches, nausea and loud, hurtful obnoxious hiccups most evenings but by then Hubby is home so I'm able to check out and deal with them on my own without having to care for the boys.

We told my parents today over skype and they are excited! I tried to get Monkey to tell them and he was very excited to until it came time to actually do it so it was up to mommy. We told our close friends and family and we are excited to share the news with you as well.

We have been planning another one for quite some time but just weren't 100% ready but now is the time! Yes we are still building and planning on living in the tiny house. One more little one isn't going to change our plans. This little one was apart of our tiny house plan all along. That is why we are planning extra beds in the kids room, because we aren't finished yet.

So with all that I'll be sharing my pregnancy journey here until we are greeted around Mother's Day with another addition to our family!

Holiday Traditions?

I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Melissa! I have been a long time reader & finally got around to co-hosting! I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. We never really had anything that we did every year growing up either. So I'm not surprised that we haven't thought about setting anything up for our kids either. Last year we tried doing the  Three Wise Men Gifts  but I of course bought more than just 3 gifts. So what is the plan this year for holiday traditions in our house? Bass Pro Shop Winter Wonderland to visit Santa Three wise men gifts  One Santa gift plus the stocking Baking cookies at Granny & Great Popa's house Baking cookies at Grandma & Popa's house with cousins & then heading to the local fire department & police station to share with the men & women that keep us safe throug

My Pregnancy Story with Monkey

So I have one of those crazy "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories. Yes I didn't know I was pregnant until I was pretty far along but I will get to that.  In May 2008 we picked up and moved out of state. At this time we had been completely off birth control for 2 years and nothing. We also found out when we first started trying that I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)  which basically meant "good luck getting pregnant". We decided that we would start the adoption process if we were not pregnant by the time we were 30 so we had a few years (still do actually! Yeah God!) So we were just enjoying life in Oklahoma and enjoying the small town life. Every Sunday morning we would walk down the street and enjoy breakfast at Selena's, we'd sit on our front porch and talk with the neighbors, and visit family in town at least once a week. Starting close to October I started feeling like something was wrong with me so I went to the OU campus in Tu
