I'm Thankful For...Monkey's Heart

Day 5
(almost caught up!)

The past few nights we have started reading Bible stories before Monkey goes to bed. We always read books but we finally found our boxes and boxes of children's books from storage so we have our three children's Bibles back! I'm so excited! Monkey has been asking to read these stories over his normal children stories that we read. I just love how God seeks their hearts at such a young age. I can't wait to see the work has in store for Monkey as he gets older. I can only pray & do my best as a mom to help him grow to be a wonderful man after God's heart. And maybe just maybe he will help turn his Daddy back towards Christ!

Holiday Traditions?

I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Melissa! I have been a long time reader & finally got around to co-hosting! I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. We never really had anything that we did every year growing up either. So I'm not surprised that we haven't thought about setting anything up for our kids either. WEDDING! Part 2: The Day Of

**Warning more Picture overload!** I couldn't help it! WEDDING DAY! (August 6, 2005) On our wedding day I was so excited! I got ready at my parents house and J. and the guys got ready at our house. It was so much fun to get our hair done at a long time friends hair salon . After that we headed over to my parents house to start getting ready. Everyone was busy getting me ready and many people were up my dress trying to get my 'fluff' to stay up so I didn't have to hold my dress us when walking. My dad was kicked out of the house until I was done. I wanted him to get the whole sh-a-bang when he walked in. This was interesting. I had to climb into the truck but was not allowed to step on the tailgate and I couldn't see my feet. It was so funny!
