I'm Thankful for...Prayer

I'm Thankful for...Prayer! Day 3

Today I'm thankful for prayer that lead me to be motivated to get up and get started on my workout! I really want to lose my baby weight and the weight I have been carrying around for years now! So the plan? Well it involves several things that I'm praying God will help me continue. 1. Be in bed by 10pm every night that Goose will allow me to. I want to get good sleep so I am ready to workout and get my day going everyday! 2. Spend time in the Word and Praying. I know that I can not do this alone! I don't have the motivation or the energy to do it without God's help! 3. Get up every morning at 5am. It sounds really early to me but if I'm up by this time I can get a full workout in, a possible shower (if not it will have to be later), I can then cook Hubby breakfast before he leaves for work and make sure he takes lunch with him. This is part of wanting to be a helpful wife. If I do this Hubby isn't going to spend money on lunch that we shouldn't be spending. So today I'm thankful that I got up, did my workout, shared with you what I'm doing, and now it's time to head to the kitchen and get breakfast started for the family!

The League of Incredible Vegetables: Movie Review

Picture borrowed from Christian Film Database Another movie review! I was so thrilled when I was walking through Best Buy before Christmas and saw this DVD sitting on the shelf. If you are a boy mom like myself you know that they love super heroes. I struggle to find age appropriated super hero movies for Monkey to watch. He loves Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, ect. and he has not seen any of the movies/shows that go along with them. Wait...he did watch The Avengers with Daddy one day while I was out. I haven't seen that one so I can't say what I think of it for a 3 year old. Anyway, I love Veggie Tale movies! I think that they do a good job of teaching lessons to kids in a way that they understand and I love the lessons they teach! Y3W: I'm Not Perfect

I'm not perfect. I think you already know that as no one is perfect on this earth even though sometimes people can look like it on the outside. I do post many things about the good things going on in my life because I would rather talk about those then dread on the bad or negative things. However today I'm going to make sure you know that I'm not perfect by a long shot. Since about last Wednesday (so over a week now)I have been struggling. I haven't been doing great in my alone time in the Word, I haven't been praying like I was, I'm craving foods that I shouldn't and eating them instead of praying about it and have gained a few pounds back, I'm not doing great on the house work and I'm struggling in making the right decisions in my parenting as Monkey is entering into this new independent/I'm not listening stage.
