Rex Cruises the Caribbean! (Part 2)

Day 3 of our vacation was porting in Cozumel Mexico. We were able to take an excursion to Playa Mia Beach where there was a buffet of Mexican food, open bar, beach chairs, boats, and inflatable ocean toys. It was great for the whole family. My hubby and I were able to swim out and have fun with the ocean toys and rent a paddle boat to go explore a little bit. It was so much fun. Rex enjoyed playing the water, finding more sea shells and building a pool with Grandma in the sand. My parents enjoyed playing with Rex and relaxing in the ocean. It was a great stop. Rex passed out on the bus trip back. He was so tired from playing so hard. We then hit the shops. We were enjoying seeing all the different things they had. The sky started to look not so friendly so we headed into the biggest shop we could find and just in time. It was a down pour. We hung out in the shop and Rex picked out the magnet from Cozumel for our fridge. We collect magnets from all the places we travel (which hasn't been many places). It finally started to settle down so we headed out. He found a bar that had a person making balloon hats. My dad had to get Rex one. He took Rex in there and my mom and I headed off to a jewelry store. I was able to find (part) of my new wedding band. It is a princess cut sapphire stone. The band that I wanted to go with it was way over our budget but we got the one and will add to it later. Over all we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves.

Coming up to the port.

They had fun animals to hold and this one was all Daddy

They handed me a parrot even though I wasn't sure I really wanted to hold it. It was nice though. Rex enjoyed seeing them so close.

 He's OUT!

His balloon hat and his favorite funny face that we seem to never get on camera and his ears make this one even cuter!

Riding on an alligator. He wasn't sure about it.

Heading back to the ship to head out for our next sea day.

The League of Incredible Vegetables: Movie Review

Picture borrowed from  Christian Film Database Another movie review! I was so thrilled when I was walking through Best Buy before Christmas and saw this  DVD sitting on the shelf. If you are a boy mom like myself you know that they love super heroes. I struggle to find age appropriated super hero movies for Monkey to watch. He loves Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, ect. and he has not seen any of the movies/shows that go along with them. Wait...he did watch The Avengers with Daddy one day while I was out. I haven't seen that one so I can't say what I think of it for a 3 year old. Anyway, I love Veggie Tale movies! I think that they do a good job of teaching lessons to kids in a way that they understand and I love the lessons they teach! This one is great because it is about fear and how if you trust God fear can't freeze you. If you have kids, especially boys this movie is great! It helps them get the superheros they want to watch without the bad guys th...

Y3W: I'm Not Perfect

I'm not perfect. I think you already know that as no one is perfect on this earth even though sometimes people can look like it on the outside. I do post many things about the good things going on in my life because I would rather talk about those then dread on the bad or negative things. However today I'm going to make sure you know that I'm not perfect by a long shot. Since about last Wednesday (so over a week now)I have been struggling. I haven't been doing great in my alone time in the Word, I haven't been praying like I was, I'm craving foods that I shouldn't and eating them instead of praying about it and have gained a few pounds back, I'm not doing great on the house work and I'm struggling in making the right decisions in my parenting as Monkey is entering into this new independent/I'm not listening stage. I know what has caused this struggle and I have been working on it but I have been doing alone and not letting God help me through...
