It just keeps getting closer and closer but taking forever at the same time. I'm so excited to know that baby Goose will be joining us soon however I have so much to do before he arrives and of course I get sick. So now not only do I not feel like doing anything, if I do to much I start coughing which means peeing my pants too and then feel even worse. Not sure how I'm going to get everything done if this cold lingers like it did with my dad. I'm on day 7 now and it last just over 3 weeks for my dad. Ugh! I can't take it that long. How far along? 34 Weeks! How big is baby? About 18 inches long and about 5 pounds (according to my phone app) Weight gain? Another 2 pounds. Really hoping that it's from the baby. I'm getting a little nervous about losing the baby weight afterwards.  Maternity Clothes? Yep! I don't have many summer clothes to wear. I'm not planning on buying any either since this is the last baby for us. I'm just saving the clothes...

Have you ever been talking to your toddler/child and thought "Where do you come up with this stuff?" I do almost every day. I decided to record some of these because they just crack me up and I figured they might give you a little laugh as well. Scenario One: I'm in the bathroom, being pregnant big surprise there. Of course I haven't been able to use it by myself since Monkey learned to crawl. He's just in the bathroom with me looking around and things and doesn't seem to be paying attention to me (when he does I try to kick him out) when all of a sudden he says, "I pee our my pee pee, you pee out your butt." I start laughing and just answer, "Sure, yes that what Mommy does." No point into getting into the details with him now. We will save that until a later time. How has life changed since I had a baby?  How hasn't it! People always say that life is never the same after a baby is born and I have to agree. So here are some things that have changed in our family. I use to work now I stay home I use to love playing with other peoples kids and baby's but now I just want to enjoy my time with my son. I still love teaching (previous job) but now love it even more because I see what my child is learning. My hubby and I are more cautious about how we talk to each other so we can set a good example for our children on what marriage should be. My whole circle of friends. Now I'm friends with other mom's that stay home and have kids my son's age so they can all play together. TV doesn't run our household. We spend time outside enjoying discovering new things to do. Our livingroom floor is always coated with a layer of toys. I swear even after we clean up it only takes a few minutes for all the toys to reappear. I love ...

After reading  Words  I had a hard time getting into another book. It really seemed like there problems were meaningless after the things I read in Words. However, I kept looking and trying different books. Well, something in A Mile in My Flip-Flops by Melody Carlson caught my attention and I think it was because I could see that this could have been my path in life if my circumstances were different. Gretchen is thirty-something and stuck in life. She is stuck because she has a broken heart. She attempts to mourn her loss of her fiance (who left her a week before the wedding) by eating ice cream and watching HGTV.  So finally she comes up with a brilliant idea on how to change to her life. She will flip her own house! If she can do this she can make enough profit to get a house of her own so she can get out of her tiny apartment with her big lab puppy. How far Along? 33 weeks, that means only 7 more to go! How big is baby? About the size of a pineapple Weight Gain? About 25 pounds I think. I will find out more at my next appointment. Stretch Marks? Nothing new. Sleep? Has now become optional apparently. Not by choice of course, but still optional. I really want to sleep but I'm waking but and switching positions every hour or so. I think it's because I'm so hot at night even with a fan blowing directly on me. We might have to invest in something else to cool the room down...any suggestions? Best Moment this Week? Taking Monkey to the library. He loves going and getting new books but also loves having friends to play with. It's so fun to watch him grow and play with kids of all ages. Movement? Over Memorial weekend we had extra kiddos in our house. My dad decided to take my sister's kids for two days so we could have some fun cousin time.  We went to the Butterfly Pavilion which Rex loves. It's a great place that helps kids learn and see butterfly's and bugs as well as helping grow more butterflies for the community as well.  Rex was able to actually hold one. Normally you are not suppose to touch the butterflies. Sometimes they will land on you and then you can just look at them until they fly away. This time another guy that was there was holding a butterfly and Rex really wanted one to land on him. Since the guy heard us talking to him he passed the butterfly on to Rex. The butterfly hung out for a bit and then flew away. Rex was really pleased being able to hold him. They also have a spider named Rosie, actually about 70 of them. Rex is finally starting to enjoy the big boy swings. However, he won't use the one on our swing set at home because it is a hard bottom instead of soft like these. Hopefully he will by the end of the summer.
