Too Hot to Hug: Children's Book Review

Monkey was given this Too Hot to Hug by Steve Smallman from his Grandma Sheila. She passed away in 2012 right before Goose was born so it holds sentimental value. I believe even without that it would be one of our favorite books.
Crumpet, the dragon helps keep a family warm through the winter but come summer he becomes to hot to hug and the family has to give him away. Before they can take him back to his cave they discover a way to cool him down so he can stay with the family.
Each page is full of colorful photos along with a great story to go along with it. My boys ask for me to read it at least once a month. Which might not seem like much but when you have over 200 hundred books in your house along with weekly trips to the library, rereading any book more than once means it's a favorite.

Holiday Traditions?

I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Melissa! I have been a long time reader & finally got around to co-hosting! I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. We never really had anything that we did every year growing up either. So I'm not surprised that we haven't thought about setting anything up for our kids either. I'm taking the challenge!

I'm taking the challenge and I'm going to talk about the subject many people hush about! SEX!  Normally this would be completely outside my comfort zone (truthfully not sure I will post this as I'm typing) but I figure why not?!?  Being married makes it OK to talk about!
