Easter Egg Chicken Holders

Another fun craft filled day with Easter around the corner. We had a bunch of egg cartons laying around and we needed something to do so I searched for some ideas online and Monkey chose to make these fun Easter egg holders. All you need is egg cartons cut up, paint & supplies, black marker, colored feathers and glue.
Painting the egg cartons all different fun colors!
Then it was time to dye the eggs to put them in our fun holders! Grandma bought special tie dye for the eggs. Monkey enjoyed this for a bit but it didn't last long.
Goose joined in for a short time and tried to enjoy an egg with us!
But with a fever of about 100 degrees he wasn't to happy to be doing anything other than cuddling and shortly after this picture he went to bed for another short cat nap.
Monkey enjoyed coloring on his eggs before he put them in the colors
Entertaining Monkey while we waited for the eggs to get done! I was tickling his nose and teasing him that his nose was going to be green from the color on my fingers
The finished product! Paint the carton, glue the feathers on the back, paint on the beak, dot the eyes and then put the eggs in! Such a fun activity!
It's like watching a pot of water waiting to boil...it just seems to take forever!
Time to Epper with Popa! We've been doing this since I was a little kid! It's great fun!
He actually even enjoyed eating the whole egg for the first time ever!

WEDDING! Part 2: The Day Of

**Warning more Picture overload!** I couldn't help it! WEDDING DAY! (August 6, 2005) On our wedding day I was so excited! I got ready at my parents house and J. and the guys got ready at our house. It was so much fun to get our hair done at a long time friends  hair salon .  After that we headed over to my parents house to start getting ready.    Everyone was busy getting me ready and many people were up my dress trying to get my 'fluff' to stay up so I didn't have to hold my dress us when walking.  My dad was kicked out of the house until I was done. I wanted him to get the whole sh-a-bang when he walked in. This was interesting. I had to climb into the truck but was not allowed to step on the tailgate and I couldn't see my feet. It was so funny! It looks like we were going fast but we really weren't but that's how we got to the park.  THE CEREMONY! After all that hard work to make it so I ...
