Day 14...Monkey

Today I'm thankful for Monkey. Which is obvious that I would be thankful for him everyday after our crazy Pregnancy Story and just the fact that he's my son. But today he gave be extra things to be thankful for.

Things he did to make me extra thankful:
  1. He was absolutely adorable playing with the little girl I watch. He loves her and wants a baby of his own too and he would be a great big brother.
  2. He saw that I was doing dishes and picked up dishes around the living room and brought them to me without me having to ask him. How cute is that.
  3. He showed me that the hard work that I'm putting in raising him and the fact that I stay consistent even on the hard days pays off. (Not that I'm super mom but I try my hardest and ask God to help with the rest).
I'm so thankful to have such a great son!

Holiday Traditions?

I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Melissa! I have been a long time reader & finally got around to co-hosting! I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. We never really had anything that we did every year growing up either. So I'm not surprised that we haven't thought about setting anything up for our kids either. Last year we tried doing the  Three Wise Men Gifts  but I of course bought more than just 3 gifts. So what is the plan this year for holiday traditions in our house? I'm taking the challenge!

I'm taking the challenge and I'm going to talk about the subject many people hush about! SEX!  Normally this would be completely outside my comfort zone (truthfully not sure I will post this as I'm typing) but I figure why not?!?  Being married makes it OK to talk about! We get so much from media that maybe it's about time that more people talk about the appropriated subjects of Sex!  First, let me start off by saying I did not wait until I was married.
