Geocaching

Have you heard of the new trend of geocaching? Not really sure how new it actually is but it's new to us for sure. Last weekend our nephew turned 8 years old and he wanted to go geocaching. It seemed like it could be fun and Monkey wanted to go along. We took the 30 minute trip the boating district of OKC and started our journey there.
Lucky for us the flooding that was caused from the storms earlier that week had gone down. Just look at all the debris and the boat that was washed up onto a flower bed. There were boats all over that were on grass or broken from the rushing flood waters!
But that debris didn't keep us from moving forward and keep looking. Our first attempt didn't end well. We think it might have gotten washed away with flood water because there was nothing around so we moved on and headed towards Brick Town.

We enjoyed hanging out with the horses from the Oklahoma Land Run Monument. Say Cheese! Aren't my boys adorable! They are such good picture takers!

We contiuned to Brick Town and headed to one near Toby Keith's restaurant. We were looking all over the place and even got all confused on where we were suppose to be looking and ended up in the mud of a construction site. Monkey ended up loosing his boot in the mud and Hubby had to go and rescue him and his boot. We ended up having to go to buy new socks for him at Bass Pro Shop near by so we could keep moving on. We did find that geocache though. Thank you Toby Keith geocache person!

We continued on our adventure through Brick Town and found one of the two geocache we tried but it was getting late so we had to give up on the last one even though we think we were close. We headed back to Toby Keith's restaurant and ate some yummy slightly over our budget food and then headed home. It was a long fun day and I enjoyed spending my Mother's day with my boys having a fun adventure around the city!

Holiday Traditions?

I can't wait to see all of your holiday traditions & I'm sure add a few to my list too! Holiday Traditions? What are those? I'm not sure we have any set up in our family. We never really had anything that we did every year growing up either. So I'm not surprised that we haven't thought about setting anything up for our kids either. Last year we tried doing the  Three Wise Men Gifts  but I of course bought more than just 3 gifts. So what is the plan this year for holiday traditions in our house? Bass Pro Shop Winter Wonderland to visit Santa Three wise men gifts  One Santa gift plus the stocking Baking cookies at Granny & Great Popa's house Baking cookies at Grandma & Popa's house with cousins & then heading to the local fire department & police station to share with the men & women that keep us safe throug...

I'm taking the challenge!

I'm taking the challenge and I'm going to talk about the subject many people hush about! SEX!  Normally this would be completely outside my comfort zone (truthfully not sure I will post this as I'm typing) but I figure why not?!?  Being married makes it OK to talk about! We get so much from media that maybe it's about time that more people talk about the appropriated subjects of Sex!  First, let me start off by saying I did not wait until I was married. Looking back I wish I did because I have baggage, my hubby has baggage, and truthfully this subject has been the main topic of the majority of our fights for the past 5 years.  Just recently I started caring more about what I was wearing to bed just like  Mrs. T, Naturally  is talking about.  I'm sure must men would love it if their wives went to bed wearing something like this ------------------>  (I know my hubby would) however when you have little ones around (a...
