No More EXCUSES!

That's my new rule! I am not allowed to have anymore excuses! I'm going to achieve my FITNESS GOAL no matter what!

I have my motivational phrases up all over the house! I warned the hubby that things might look a little crazy for awhile but I need those constant reminders! I have them on the time and motivation sucker, on the wall by the scale, the wall by the dining room, the bathroom mirror, the refrigerator, next to the bed to start my days out right and the silverware drawer (all pictured). But I also have them by the kitchen sink and the computer as well! I'm even thinking of adding some to my car if needed!

I've hired personal trainer/friend to work out with be 3 times a week and to help me with my nutrition needs as well!

I have set goals, small and large! Baby steps are the way to go!

And now I'm going to keep on going! I'm not going to give up anymore! I want to reach my fitness goal and not only feel better, have more energy, and be proud of myself but also for the new wardrobe that the hubby has promised at the end of it! It's been years in the making but this time I'm not backing down! By the time my 30th birthday rolls around I'm going to be at least on my way to being the fittest I have ever been in my life!

Happy Father's Day!

Today is father's day and most people are getting together and celebrating with family. Dads, grandpas and uncles all celebrating together the joys of being a father. Maybe getting a chance to relax and enjoy just sitting around watching the kids play and being surrounded with family. That's what father's day has always looked like for us. We would always gather at my parents house. First, with my grandparents when I was growing up for dinner and a day of enjoying being together. Then as I grew older my sister and I would make sure to spend the day with our dad. Then we got married and had kids of our own and the tradition continued. We would bring all the kids and enjoy BBQing at my parents house enjoying time together. This year things are different. We can't just jump in the car and head over for a BBQ. We can't sit around on the couch or on the patio talking and laughing together. This year we are 12 hours away from where I've always been for father...

I'm Thankful For...day 2

Today I'm thankful for the snow outside and the fact that it has kept my hubby home with us today and the fact that just using google and a few other blogs for ideas I was able to find out how to make a link up! Link ups are fun and I can't wait to read what everyone else is thankful for this month! Grab the button, link up, follow along or just read! It's up to you!

Week #2 on THM

Well it's officially the end of week 2 on Trim Healthy Mama! I have tried some more new recipes from the book and from pinterest and I'm having so much fun with it. I also order some xylitol online to save money. I didn't realize how much sweetener I would be using but when you can make sweets for any meal or snack through out the day you can use quite a bit. Favorite Meals this week E pancakes from the book! Yum! I added in frozen berries to them while cooking and they were great and the boys loved them too. They got to have the added whipped cream or syrup on theirs. Fat Stripping Frappa! OMGOSH! This is going to be my go to summer morning drink! I can see myself making one of these up first thing in the morning to get my day going and then enjoying a yummy breakfast 3 hours later. Soon as warm weather hits Hubby's schedule will be packed full daily so my mornings will start early, like 5am early! So having a breakfast at 8:30 will be perfect timing! Cheese ...
